It Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
• Perform regular security risk assessments and vulnerability testing; analyse security weaknesses and recommend solutions.
• Respond promptly to incidents, providing technical expertise during and after cybersecurity events.
• Conduct security awareness training for staff and assist in shaping a security-first organizational culture.
• Manage and monitor security tools (SIEM, DLP, antivirus, etc.), and investigate security issues as they arise.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
• Stay updated on the latest cyber threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, NERC CIP, IEC 62443).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Solid understanding of OT/ICS environments and cybersecurity implications.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint detection.
• Experience in incident response, forensics, and malware analysis is a plus.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.) are highly desirable.
