Role Overview
Protect the company's digital infrastructure by designing, implementing, and improving cybersecurity architecture.
Protect infrastructure, cloud, edge devices, and data from unauthorized use, modification, exfiltration, or damage.
Identify threats, manage projects, and engineer solutions that affect the entire company.
Responsibilities
- Become proficient in security tools across network, cloud, email, threat detection and response, and compliance disciplines.
- Analyze and remediate suspicious or malicious events using SIEM, email security, and network security tools.
- Follow up on internal IT requests, approvals, and security-related communications.
- Maintain informational asset permissions and coordinate asset reviews.
- Perform security audits and research complex technical topics, vendor proposals, and policy recommendations.
- Assist with enterprise security technology deployments, compliance requests, and support for other IT teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Technology.
- Prior Information Security internship, co-op, or other security-related work experience is required.
- Experience with some of SIEM, Endpoint Detection and Response, Azure-based architecture, Privileged Access Management, Identity Access, or Active Directory.
