Full Job Posting Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Support Provide day-to-day engineering support to Production teams. Resolve manufacturing issues impacting Safety, Quality, Cost, or Delivery. Support supervisors and operators in identifying process improvements. Lead root cause investigations relating to technical and manufacturing issues. Drive corrective and preventive actions to improve operational performance. Maintain a strong shop-floor presence and provide hands-on support where required. Product Industrialization Support the industrialisation of new and modified products. Ensure designs can be manufactured efficiently, safely, and repeatedly. Define manufacturing routings and build sequences. Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions. Support production trials and process validation activities. Identify manufacturing risks before product release. Engineering Change Management Manage the implementation of Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO). Assess the manufacturing impact of design changes. Coordinate change implementation between Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Planning. Ensure engineering changes are effectively communicated to all stakeholders. Minimise disruption to production through controlled change deployment. Monitor and report engineering change effectiveness. Technical Data Management Ensure Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, drawings, manufacturing instructions, and technical records remain accurate and controlled. Verify consistency between CAD models, production drawings, CAM data, and manufacturing documentation. Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of Product Data Management (PDM) and ERP systems.

Qualifications Skills & Experience Degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Proven experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and production workflows. Experience supporting Make-to-Order (MTO) and/or Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing operations would be a plus. Ability to analyse and resolve discrepancies between CAD models, drawings, CAM outputs, and manufacturing documentation. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions. Experience working with ERP, PDM and/or PLM systems. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively with both Engineering and Operations teams. Willingness to spend the majority of working time supporting activities directly on the shop floor. Experience within sheet metal fabrication, painting, assembly, or electro-mechanical manufacturing environments. Knowledge of CAD and CAM systems. Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Solid Edge, or similar software. Understanding of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA). Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience. Experience performing time studies, process mapping and capacity analysis. Experience implementing engineering data governance and document control processes. Improved manufacturing productivity, efficiency, and throughput. Reduction in rework, waste, and non-conformities linked to engineering data. Successful industrialisation of new products and customer-specific configurations. Improved manufacturing readiness at product release.
