This position reports to the Engineering Manager .
Analyze and optimize production workflows, assembly line layouts, and manufacturing cell configurations to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
Develop, document, and maintain standardized work instructions, process flows, cycle time studies, and labor routings for cable and wire harness assembly operations.
Conduct time and motion studies, capacity analyses, and value stream mapping to identify bottlenecks and drive measurable efficiency improvements.
Lead and support Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives across production departments in collaboration with Operations and Quality teams.
Partner with Engineering and Quality to ensure manufacturing processes are producible, cost-effective, and compliant with AS9100, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and customer-specific requirements.
Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing manufacturing plans, tooling requirements, and assembly strategies from concept through full-scale production.
Monitor and analyze key production metrics including OEE, scrap, rework, and labor efficiency, and develop action plans to address gaps.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production Planning to support capacity planning, scheduling, and material flow optimization.
Identify and implement ergonomic improvements and workplace organization initiatives to promote safety, quality, and productivity on the production floor.
Support the Company's mission, vision, values, and goals in the performance of daily activities.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year plus 10% AIP. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
