Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our Billing organization in Hyderabad, India as a full stack engineer responsible for implementing modern, cutting edge architectural patterns across the application stack. This hands - on role requires close collaboration with architects and engineering teams to deliver high quality solutions aligned with The Hartford’s technology roadmap. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Java, Angular, AWS services, Oracle databases, API development, microservices, and event driven architectures, with a demonstrated focus on security, resiliency, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain microservices supporting billing transactions, payment processing, and account lifecycle events using Java Spring Boot and API integrations using AWS technologies.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, test coverage, and adherence to engineering standards.
- Design and develop modern, user centric UI components following frontend best practices and accessibility guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple platforms built using Java, Angular, Oracle PL/ SQL , AWS, UNIX .
- Develop and deploy solutions using AWS cloud services like AWS Lambda .
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, and performance.
