Role Overview
Musco Lighting is hiring an Import/Export Specialist for its Dammam, Saudi Arabia office.
The role provides leadership in coordinating freight carriers and developing and executing import and export operations for the KSA manufacturing facility.
Essential Criteria
- At least 2 years of experience in import and export operations.
- Strong command of English and Arabic in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated.
- Proficiency with computers and Office 365 programs, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage KSA inventory requests by creating and maintaining purchase orders through shipment completion.
- Create accurate commercial documentation for import and export shipments.
- Prepare additional documentation required for import compliance in each destination country.
- Work with departments to plan import and export strategies.
- Maintain and build freight carrier relationships.
- Support international entities with communication about materials supply and project shipments.
- Manage and approve international freight invoices.
- Coordinate with carriers to meet Musco and customer freight requirements.
- Provide freight quotes, tracking information, and responses to freight-related inquiries.
