- Classify goods or technology being imported and exported
- Obtain import or export licenses
- Complete or retain required documentation and compile reports
- Analyze and update import/export processes to improve efficiency
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including government authorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, preferably as an importer/exporter
- Good understanding of Customs and Import Laws and Regulations
- Ability to analyze technical data and articulate appropriate HTS
- Licensed customs broker (preferred)
- Experience in SAP GTS (preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office applications

Job Summary
- You will help Client in importation and exportation of goods or technology complies with applicable government laws and regulations.
- Responsibilities can include classification of goods or technology being imported and exported, obtaining import or export licenses, completion or retention of required documentation and compilation of reports.
- Responsibilities could also include documentation, analysis and update of import/export processes, programs or projects to determine methods for improving efficiency or effectiveness and coordination with internal and external stakeholders (including government authorities).
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field OR additional equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience in trade compliance – preferably with an Importer/exporter.
- Good understanding of Customs and Import Laws and Regulations.
- Good understanding of the Administration Regulations.
- Ability to analyze technical data and can clearly articulate the appropriate HTS.
- Be able to articulate conclusions and decisions based on customs regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed customs broker
- Experience in SAP GTS a Plus
- Strong Technical Skills
- Proficient in all MS Office applications (i.e. Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong computer skills including ability to research transactions and prepare
