Responsibilities
- Lead the development of information management and information technology (IM/IT) solutions across desktop, client/server applications, databases, networking, storage, and communications
- Document business objectives, user requirements, technical specifications, and statements of work
- Research and evaluate business and technical needs to support the execution of enterprise technology roadmaps
- Perform data analysis to uncover insights that inform decision making and support strategic initiatives
- Design and build Power BI reports and dashboards that present complex data in a clear, actionable format
- Prepare feasibility studies, business cases, and cost benefit analyses, and provide recommendations on build versus buy options
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop system designs and project plans, functional and technical specifications, and testing plans
- Assess the usability of solutions prior to development and redesign business processes when necessary
Requirements
- College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
- Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and process optimization
- Experience in data analysis, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights
- Experience in report creation, including the development of interactive dashboards using Power BI
- Experience in software development environments, with an understanding of application lifecycle and delivery
- Experience in scope and change management
- Experience in technical documentation, such as functional specifications, data flow diagrams, and metadata catalogs
- Experience in creating technical presentations for diverse audiences
- Experience in application integration and delivery challenges, especially involving legacy systems and modern platforms
- Experience in a similar IM/IT environment focused on data governance, platform modernization, and analytics enablement (considered an asset)
- English or French Essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset

THE ROLE
