The Hygiene Officer maintains food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards for guests, employees, and hotel work areas.
The role is based at voco Riyadh and covers kitchens, stores, receiving areas, disposal areas, and related hotel operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain hygiene standards so food is free from microbiological, chemical, and physical contamination.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards across kitchens, stores, receiving, disposal, and other work areas.
- Maintain records for the hotel's sanitation and hygiene programs.
- Create and maintain an up-to-date methodology manual for management review.
- Coordinate hygiene activities with the hotel team.
- Perform management-assigned projects and special assignments.
- Conduct and chair the monthly HACCP meeting.
- Monitor and perform sanitation and hygiene procedures and protocols.
Requirements
- Have 2 to 3 years of experience as a Hygiene Officer or Hygiene Supervisor in a hotel or similar large restaurant complex.
- Hotel industry experience is preferred.
- Be able to handle multifaceted projects and work under pressure.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and effective teamwork.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
