Role Summary
The Hybrid Virtualization & Private Cloud Engineer implements, operates, and optimizes enterprise hybrid virtualization platforms across VMware Cloud Foundation, Azure Stack HCI, and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization.
The role supports mission-critical workloads in regulated enterprise environments with focus on availability, security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The role works with regional and global infrastructure, cloud, and security teams, as well as OEMs and vendors.
The role operates in the Singapore time zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and operate VMware Cloud Foundation platforms, including management and workload domains.
- Operate and troubleshoot SDDC Manager, vSphere, vCenter, and NSX.
- Perform VCF lifecycle management including host commissioning and decommissioning, patching, upgrades, and compliance remediation.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and network layers.
