HVAC Purchase Engineer

· Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management:

· Developing and implementing procurement policies, identifying and selecting suppliers, and building strong vendor relationships.

· Predicting material and equipment requirements for ongoing and future projects.

• Negotiating Contracts:

· Securing favorable prices and terms for materials, equipment, and services.

• Managing Inventory:

· Ensuring adequate stock of materials and equipment while minimizing waste and costs.

• Ensuring Quality and Compliance:

· Verifying that all purchased items meet required specifications and quality standards, and comply with relevant regulations.

• Tracking Expenses and Budget Management:

· Monitoring procurement costs, implementing cost-saving measures, and ensuring adherence to project budgets.

• Maintaining Records and Reporting:

· Keeping accurate records of procurement activities and preparing regular reports for stakeholders.

• Collaborating with Project Teams:

· Working closely with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project needs and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

· Evaluating supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost, and taking corrective action if needed.

• Staying Updated on Industry Trends:

· Keeping abreast of new technologies, materials, and industry best practices in HVAC.
