in Hotels / Hospitals / Office Buildings / IT fit-outs/ Apartments/ Industries/ Residential/ Commercial buildings.

Knowledge: 1.

Good exposure to Internal and External Water-Based Hydrant Systems, Pump Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Smoke Detection, Fire Alarm System, Gas-Based Suppression Systems, and Voice Evacuation PA System 2.

Knowledge about system design as per NBC, NFPA, FM (Factory Mutual), and UL guidelines.

Software Knowledge: Mandatory: AutoCAD*, Proficiency in MS Office.

Functional Skills Requirements: 1.

Design Skills – Requirements collection, Preparation of Load Estimate, Design basis report, Space Planning, Wet riser/ Down Comer/ Yard Hydrant Systems, Automatic Sprinkler Systems, Travel Distance Check Layouts, Pipe Sizing Design 2.

Drawing Skills – 2D drawings – fire protection systems, schematic / single line drawings, detailed sections / elevations as applicable, Sizing Water Sump / OHT requirements and puddle flange, 3.

Documentation – Preparation of Material Take of Sheets, Bill of Quantities, Technical specifications, budgetary estimates, quantity take off sheets and supporting documents 4.

Project Execution – Responding to RFIs, Quality Reports, Material and drawing approvals 5.

Responsible for the project from the design stage to execution and completion of the project at site. 6.

Monitoring the progress of site at work and reporting the same to management and client as required.
