Azizi Developments is looking for an experienced HV Testing & Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team in the UAE.
Role Overview
You will lead and execute testing and commissioning activities for high-voltage (HV) projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while supporting timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute all HV testing and commissioning activities
Ensure availability of testing equipment and materials
Prepare weekly and monthly witness plans in coordination with DEWA
Conduct inspections and perform electrical testing and technical verifications
Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning tests (trial runs, reliability, performance, and acceptance)
Prepare and maintain testing reports, commissioning documentation, and handover records
Review procedures, schedules, and test notices
Maintain as-built documentation with all site modifications
Ensure full compliance with HSE standards
Collaborate with project and engineering teams for successful project delivery
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
10–20 years of experience in HV Substation and Cabling projects
Dewa-Approved T&C Lead Engineer
Proven experience in HV substation commissioning
Skills And Competencies
Strong leadership and coordination skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal)
Problem-solving and attention to detail
Collaborative and adaptable mindset
Strong commitment to safety and HSE
