Job Overview

  • Aston Education is working with a British International School in Dubai looking for a full time Humanities Lead Practitioner to start in August 2026.
  • The school is a thriving international school for students aged 3 18 with over 3000 students, following the British Curriculum from EYFS to KS5.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work across KS3, KS4 and KS5 providing high quality coaching and subject specific CPD to Humanities teachers.
  • Implement and monitor strategies to raise the achievement of targeted Humanities students.
  • Act as a 'champion' for SEND students.
  • Teach Humanities (Religious Studies, History or Geography) across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • Prepare students for iGCSE and A level exams.

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • PGCE and QTS / QTLS
  • Degree in Humanities or related field
  • Successful UK teaching experience in Humanities at secondary school level
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Humanities
  • Proven track record of improving teaching and learning
  • Commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and community
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
