Top Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support and administration of the HRIS, including data maintenance, system troubleshooting, user support, and ensuring data integrity and security.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze HR data reports and dashboards to support decision-making across workforce planning, budgeting, and operations.
- Monitor and audit HR and payroll data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, and reconcile discrepancies across systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements related to HR systems, reporting, and data management, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions, provide system training, and support strategic and operational initiatives.
- As our preferred candidate, you will have:
- Diploma or degree in: Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field *Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- 3 years of progressively responsible experience in HRIS payroll administration, workforce analytics and reporting, business intelligence.
- Experience in a municipal, public sector, unionized, or regulated environment is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, systems and workforce data structures
- Strong proficiency in: Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation) Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tools SQL or database querying would be an asset.

- Experience working with HRIS systems such as Oracle HCM, Workday would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of collective agreements and unionized workforce environments would be an asset.
- Experience supporting system implementations or upgrades would be an asset.
- Understanding of data governance, privacy legislation, and records management practices.
