The HR Assistant supports day-to-day HR and administrative operations within a fast-paced readymix environment, ensuring accurate record-keeping, smooth coordination between site and office teams, and compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment processes (job postings, CV screening, interview coordination)
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Support onboarding and induction for plant, driver, and site personnel
- Track attendance, leave, and timesheets (including shift-based workforce)
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, document control, and record archiving
- Handle data entry for HR systems, payroll inputs, and employee databases
- Assist in processing bills, invoices, and HR-related expense claims
- Coordinate with PRO for visa, labor, and regulatory requirements (UAE)
- Support payroll preparation by ensuring accuracy of employee data
- Assist in organizing training sessions, HSE inductions, and internal communications
- Respond to basic employee queries and provide administrative HR support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of HR/admin experience (construction/readymix preferred)
- Familiarity with UAE labor law and visa processes is an advantage
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with HR/payroll systems is a plus
