Role Description
- Role: HTML Email Developer – Onsite Support Abu Dhabi
- Hands on experience in HTML email (EDM/newsletter) development English & Arabic.
- Strong understanding of responsive email coding for desktop and mobile devices.
- Experience building and testing email campaigns across major email clients.
- Ability to convert approved email content into responsive HTML email templates.
- Good knowledge of email development best practices, including image optimization, fonts, spacing, buttons, accessibility, and cross client compatibility.
- Ability to troubleshoot rendering issues across Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, and mobile email clients.
- Familiarity with email testing and QA processes.
- Good communication skills to understand client requirements, respond to feedback, and deliver timely updates.
- Experience working with email marketing platforms (ESPs) is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Strong Front End Development skills with a focus on HTML/CSS for email, and practical Programming abilities relevant to email templating and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Responsive Web Design and Web Design principles to ensure emails render correctly across devices and email clients.
- Effective Communication skills for working with designers, marketers, and stakeholders, and for clearly documenting code and processes.
- Experience with major email service providers (ESPs), email testing tools, and awareness of deliverability and spam filter considerations.
- Understanding of accessibility standards for email and familiarity with design handoff tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and commitment to quality and consistency in coded assets.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in HTML email development for marketing campaigns or MarCom environments is highly beneficial.
