- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices
- Ensure compliance with client, company, and statutory HSE regulations
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Monitor high risk activities and ensure appropriate control measures are in place
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of construction, maintenance, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with permit to work systems
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and safety records
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all project activities
Requirements
- Diploma in Safety, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory
- Minimum 6 years of HSE experience in any industry (onshore) or 6 years offshore HSE experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects (onshore) or Offshore Oil & Gas projects
- GCC Oil & Gas experience is mandatory
- Valid original passport
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices in Oil & Gas
- Excellent communication and reporting skills

Job Summary
- We are seeking experienced HSE / Safety Officers with proven Gulf Oil & Gas experience to join major Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies, ensuring compliance with international safety
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with client, company, and statutory HSE regulations.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Monitor high risk activities and ensure appropriate control measures are in place.

Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Safety, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
- Internationally recognized First Aid Certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience Requirements Onshore Projects
- Minimum 6 years of HSE experience in any industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects involving: Construction, Fabrication, Installation, Commissioning, Operations / Production.
Experience Requirements Offshore Projects
- Minimum 6 years of offshore HSE experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Offshore Oil & Gas projects involving: Satellite Wellheads, Process Complex Facilities, Artificial Islands, Unmanned Wellhead Towers (WHTs), Jack up Barges, Marine Construction & Maintenance Projects.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience in Permit to Work (PTW) systems and risk assessment methodologies.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures and incident investigation.

- Strong leadership and decision making abilities.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Physically fit to work in hot and humid onshore/offshore environments.
- Good hand eye coordination and ability to operate site equipment safely.

Mandatory Requirements
- GCC Oil & Gas experience is mandatory.
- Onshore and Offshore experience will be preferred.
- Valid original passport.
- Updated CV/Resume.
- Experience certificates supporting Gulf Oil & Gas employment.
