- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve HSSE/HSEMS systems in full compliance with ADNOC and relevant regulatory requirements
- Conduct HSE inspections, audits, risk assessments, and thorough incident investigations
- Monitor contractor HSE compliance and overall site safety performance
- Support the development and delivery of HSSE training programs, awareness initiatives, and project specific activities
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and ADNOC stakeholders
- Prepare accurate HSE reports, maintain comprehensive documentation, and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance
- Perform daily site inspections, safety walk downs, and toolbox talks
- Ensure strict compliance with PPE usage, permit to work systems, and safe work practices
- Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain the readiness of firefighting and first aid equipment
- Support environmental compliance initiatives, including waste management and spill control, in accordance with ISO 14001 standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, HSE, or a related field
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
- Must be ADNOC Approved HSE Officer
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory
- Sound knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ADNOC HSE standards
- Previous ADNOC worksite experience is preferred
- Excellent command of English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage

Position Overview
- Desert Way Oilfield Service and Gas LLC OPC, a leading Oil & Gas Construction Company in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a highly experienced and ADNOC approved HSE Officer to join our team on a long term project.
- The successful candidate will possess strong hands on HSE expertise within the oil and gas industry and a comprehensive working knowledge of HSSE/HSEMS systems and ADNOC regulatory requirements.
