Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures in compliance with offshore safety regulations (OSHA, OGP, ISO 45001, etc.)
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections on offshore rigs/vessels
- Ensure all personnel adhere to PPE requirements and safe work practices
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and provide corrective action reports
- Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks for offshore crew and contractors
- Maintain HSE documentation, permits, and emergency response plans
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory bodies on HSE compliance
Requirements
- NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification (Offshore specialization preferred)
- OPITO approved certifications (BOSIET, HUET, CA EBS) are mandatory
- Minimum 3 5 years of offshore HSE experience (oil & gas, marine, or wind energy)
- In depth knowledge of offshore safety standards (SIMOPS, PTW, JSA, H2S safety)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a high risk environment under challenging conditions
- Proficiency in HSE reporting software and MS Office
