Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and competent **HSE Officer** with a strong background in **potable water pipeline and infrastructure works** within the UAE/GCC region.
The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements in compliance with project specifications, client standards, and UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with project HSE plans, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and site safety inspections.
- Monitor work activities to ensure safe execution, especially for excavation, pipeline installation, lifting, and confined space works.
- Ensure compliance with authority requirements (TAQA/ADDC/AADC/TRANSCO/ADNOC).
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; implement corrective actions.
- Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams to promote a strong safety culture on site.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Completed **Senior Secondary School**.
- **Bachelor’s Degree or 3 YEAR Diploma in HSE / Engineering** (MOFA Attested).
- **NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory)**.
- Valid **UAE Driving License** (Preferred).
- Competency/approval from **ADDC**, **AADC**, **TRANSCO**, **ADNOC**, or **Musanada** is highly preferable.
- Candidates on **visit visa / immediate availability** will be given preference.
Work Location Condition
- The position is based in **Liwa (Western Region, Abu Dhabi)**.
