About the Role

Responsibilities
- Monitor execution of HSE activities on project to ensure HSE requirements are met
- Assist in developing and implementing emergency response procedures and evacuation plans
- Provide training to workers on HSE subjects, incident prevention, first aid, and safety awareness
- Identify hazards and unsafe conditions daily, raise observation reports, and record corrective measures
- Address and report violations daily and make recommendations
- Provide data on daily, weekly, and monthly reports to monitor HSE performance
- Conduct daily toolbox talks to notify safety precautionary measures
- Ensure 100% of employees pass site induction training before commencing work
- Ensure written risk assessment for each task prior to start of work
- Inspect fire extinguishers monthly and maintain logs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering
- Diploma in NEBOSH or any related technical certificates
- Minimum 5 years working experience, 3 years relevant
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills

Job Summary
- The HSE Officer assists to perform execution of safety practices and procedures including implementation of Project HSE plan, task analysis, evaluation of hazardous conditions, recommendation of control measures, investigation of accidents, implementation of training programs, and safeguard executio
Job Responsibilities 1
- Monitor execution of HSE activities on project to ensure HSE requirements are met
- Assist in developing and implementing emergency response procedures and evacuation plans
- Provide training to workers on HSE subjects, incident prevention, first aid, and safety awareness
- Ensure hazards and unsafe conditions are identified daily and corrective measures recorded
- Address and report violations daily and make recommendations
- Provide data on daily, weekly, monthly reports to monitor HSE performance
- Conduct daily toolbox talks to notify safety precautionary measures
- Ensure 100% of employees pass site induction training before commencing work
- Ensure visitor and project personnel induction program is effective and daily logs maintained
- Ensure written risk assessment for each task prior to start of work
- Ensure risk assessment findings communicated to all concerned personnel daily
- Ensure all project certified mobile plant and HSE equipment inspected daily and logs updated monthly
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses
- Ability to investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions
- Skill in developing and delivering HSE training programs
- Effective communication skills to liaise with management and stakeholders
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills
Job Experience
- Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant, 2 year(s) GCC is a plus
