Position Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced HSE Officer in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role supports waste management and environmental services at ADNOC project and client sites.
Previous ADNOC project or site experience and NEBOSH certification are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and requirements at project and site locations.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements and site procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, safety briefings, and risk assessments.
- Monitor safe work practices, PPE use, and compliance with safety rules.
- Prepare HSE documentation, inspection reports, checklists, and records.
- Support risk assessments, method statements, JSA/JHA, and emergency response procedures.
- Report and investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
- Coordinate with site HSE representatives and close out HSE observations.
- Conduct emergency drills and support emergency preparedness.
- Monitor environmental controls for waste handling, transportation, storage, and disposal.
- Ensure proper segregation, handling, labeling, and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
- Inspect vehicles, equipment, work areas, and PPE and support HSE audits.
