Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Engineer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across airport construction and operational projects.
The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk assessment procedures, and airport safety standards.
The candidate should be capable of implementing HSE management systems, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards, and promoting a strong safety culture on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety management systems.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, airport regulations, and international HSE standards.
- Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, and risk mitigation plans.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and airport authorities regarding safety matters.
- Monitor permit-to-work systems and ensure safe execution of activities.
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
- Support emergency response planning and drills.
- Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, or aviation projects.
- Dubai Airport experience preferred.
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
- Additional certifications such as IOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and airport safety standards.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
- Proficient in MS Office and HSE reporting systems.

- Strong leadership and coordination abilities.
- Excellent observation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in high-risk environments and live operational areas.
- Familiarity with airside safety procedures and permit systems.
Availability
Immediate joiners preferred.
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
