About the Role
AtkinsRéalis is seeking an HSE Engineer to monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance on construction sites in Abu Dhabi. The role requires NEBOSH Diploma/IGC, lead auditor certification, and experience in site supervision consultancy.

Responsibilities
- Adhere to and implement AtkinsRéalis internal HSE management system requirements and procedures
- Monitor compliance of all WSA staff with applicable safety standards and company procedures
- Monitor, assess and report on Contractor and Sub Contractors HSE compliance
- Conduct and coordinate regular safety training for WSA staff
- Carry out daily site HSE tours with Contractor HSE staff and highlight findings
- Issue Safety Enforcement Notices (SEN) as per applicable procedures
- Review and comment on Contractors HSE Plans, risk assessments, and work method statements
- Conduct accident and incident investigations for AtkinsRéalis staff
- Prepare and maintain AtkinsRéalis HSE registers
Requirements
- Minimum HSE qualifications with NEBOSH Diploma/IGC
- Lead auditor course (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001)
- Professional membership from IIRSM/IOSH is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Experience in site Supervision consultant
- Middle East Experience mandatory

Overview
- AtkinsRéalis is Looking for an HSE Engineer.
Your Role
- Adhere to and implement AtkinsRéalis internal HSE management system requirements and procedures for AtkinsRéalis site team.
- Adhere to project HSE requirements and implement this to AtkinsRéalis team.
- Monitor the compliance of all WSA staff with the applicable safety standards and company's procedures.
- Monitor, assess and report on Contractor and Sub Contractors HSE compliance with the project HSE requirements.
- Immediately bring to the attention of the AtkinsRéalis PM the critical and outstanding safety issues.
- Conduct and co ordinate regular safety training for WSA staff.
- Carry out daily site HSE tours with Contractor HSE staff and highlight findings.
- Issue Safety Enforcement Notices (SEN) as per applicable AtkinsRéalis SEN procedure.
- Follow up with the Contractor on outstanding HSE issues, including SEN's and ensuring prompt closure.
- Review and comment of the Contractors HSE Plans.
- Review and comment on Contractors risk assessments and work method statements.
- Develop and update AtkinsRéalis HSE documents (the Safety File).
About You
- Minimum HSE qualifications with NEBOSH Diploma/IGC.
- Lead auditor course (ISO45001 and ISO14001).
- Professional membership from IIRSM/IOSH is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English essential.
- Will be capable of working on their own or within/leading a small team.
- Experience in site Supervision consultant.
- Middle East Experience mandatory.
