Overview
We are looking for an experienced and qualified HSE Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across operations while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent qualification (Level 6 Diploma)
- Minimum 6 years of UAE/GCC experience in a similar role
- NEBOSH IGC/NGC certification is mandatory
- Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
- IOSH Managing Safely / Working Safely certification
- OSHA certification will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
- Prepare HSE reports and maintain safety documentation
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe work practices
Preferred Candidate Profile
- UAE Driving License holder
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites/projects
