Job Description
Support environmental accounting, sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, regulatory reporting, ESIA studies, environmental management plans, and HSE auditing.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Support environmental accounting and sustainability reporting.
- Manage carbon accounting, reporting, and compliance submissions to regulators and relevant oil and gas authorities.
- Lead client-related aspects of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment studies.
- Support the development and maintenance of company and asset Environmental Management Plans.
- Support and assist with HSE auditing and assurance activities.
Role Location and Travel
- The role is based in Sharjah.
- The role includes occasional trips to Kurdistan and potentially Federal Iraq.
Training Opportunities
- ESIA liaison with consultant companies.
- Auditing and assurance.
- Environmental reporting using SAP software.
Minimum Educational, Technical Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or environmental management.
- At least three years of experience with ESIA in a client or consulting role.
