Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain employee attendance, timesheets, and leave records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation, orientation, and induction
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR related inquiries, providing timely guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring all HR documentation is up to date
- Prepare employment contracts, letters, certificates, and other HR related documents
- Assist in implementing and communicating HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Assist with performance management activities, including probation reviews and performance appraisal administration
- Coordinate with department managers on employee lifecycle activities and HR administrative requirements
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and internal HR processes
- Generate HR reports and maintain HR databases as required
- Provide administrative support for recruitment activities when needed
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an HR Officer, HR Coordinator, or similar HR role
- Sound knowledge of HR principles, employment practices, and labor regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR Information Systems (HRIS)
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
- Willingness to relocate to North Africa

Role Overview
- The HR Officer will support the delivery of day to day Human Resources operations in the project site (North Africa). The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient HR administration, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting the employee lifecycle from onboarding to off
