About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage the full document control cycle for all project documents, including drawings, submittals, RFIs, method statements, material approvals, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain and update the Document Control System (DCS) / EDMS, ensuring correct filing, version control, and traceability
- Receive, log, distribute, and track all incoming and outgoing documents in accordance with project procedures
- Ensure all drawings and documents are issued with correct revision numbers, dates, and transmittal references
- Coordinate with site engineers, technical office, and subcontractors to ensure timely submission of required documents
- Monitor document review cycles and follow up with consultants and internal teams to avoid delays
- Prepare and issue transmittals, submission logs, drawing registers, and weekly/monthly document control reports
- Ensure compliance with project document control procedures, naming conventions, and filing structures
- Maintain hard copy and soft copy archives for all project documentation
- Assist in preparing handover documentation, O&M manuals, and final project dossiers
Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of GCC experience as a Document Controller in construction projects
- Experience in hotel, high end, or fast track projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of document control procedures, ISO standards, and construction documentation workflows
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to relocate to North Africa

Position Summary

Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of GCC experience as a Document Controller in construction projects; experience in hotel, high end, or fast track projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of document control procedures, ISO standards, and construction documentation workflows.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to prepare logs, reports, and well structured documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage large volumes of documents.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working with main contractors is required, with preference given to candidates who have worked on hotel construction site projects.
