About Nabat

Role Overview

  • The HR Manager at Nabat will serve as the Venture HR Lead, owning end to end people operations.
  • This is a hands on, senior individual contributor role responsible for building and running all HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Define hiring plans, approve sourcing strategy, lead interviews, manage candidate communications.
  • PRO & Government Liaison: Approve visa priorities, manage quota usage, ensure Emiratization compliance.
  • Payroll & Compliance: Approve payroll calendar, own sensitive payroll decisions, coordinate with Finance.
  • HR Operations: Approve employee leave requests, HR policies, and decide non standard employee cases.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Approve joiner/leaver decisions, set standards, conduct orientations.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Set compensation standards, select insurers, approve policy design.
  • Employee Relations: Own ER case strategy, grievance decisions, and conflict resolution outcomes.
  • Learning & Development: Set learning priorities, approve curriculum, own leadership development.
  • Executive Hiring & Exit: Define executive mandates, approve search strategy, lead negotiations.
  • Performance Management: Set performance cycle policy, approve salary review principles.
  • HRIS & Data Management: Approve governance rules, sensitive data extracts, and audit responses.

What We're Looking For

  • 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a startup or lean team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labour law, PRO processes, and Emiratization requirements.
  • Proven ability to operate independently across the full HR spectrum.
  • Experience managing outsourced HR/payroll providers.
  • Commercially minded with people first thinking.
  • Excellent judgment on sensitive employee matters.
  • Strong communicator with leadership and government bodies.
