Lead the housekeeping team and maintain luxury standards of cleanliness, quality, efficiency, and guest care.
Work with hotel management to support efficient and cost-effective housekeeping operations.
Key responsibilities
- Allocate rooms and tasks to Room Attendants according to business demand and hotel standards.
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate hotel activity and guest feedback to staff.
- Inspect bedrooms, public areas, and staff areas to maintain standards.
- Manage cleaning materials, equipment, linen, uniforms, amenities, and stocktaking.
- Record maintenance issues in the hotel PMS and verify rooms before returning them to inventory.
- Coordinate ready rooms, VIP amenities, guest laundry, lost property, and employee timesheets.
- Ensure correct handling and storage of cleaning agents in accordance with health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
- At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, hygiene, health, and safety.
- Ability to lead, supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping team members.
- Strong organization, time management, communication, interpersonal, and complaint-resolution skills.
- Good command of English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Familiarity with housekeeping systems and hotel PMS is advantageous.
