Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule Public Area Attendants to ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained
- Conduct regular inspections of lobbies, corridors, restaurants, meeting rooms, restrooms, elevators, and recreational facilities
- Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and checklists
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and submit requisitions as required
- Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, and maintenance concerns
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping operations
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership skills with ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a diverse team
- Excellent knowledge of housekeeping procedures and public area cleaning standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to luxury hospitality standards
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Job Purpose
- The Housekeeping Public Area Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily cleaning, maintenance, and presentation of all public areas.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule Public Area Attendants
- Conduct regular inspections of all public areas
- Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints
- Collaborate with Engineering, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other departments
Qualifications & Competencies
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping operations
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of housekeeping procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
