About the Role
The Ned Doha seeks a Housekeeping Public Area Supervisor to oversee cleaning and maintenance of all public areas, ensuring luxury standards. The role supervises a team, conducts inspections, and coordinates with other departments.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule Public Area Attendants to ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained according to hotel standards
- Conduct regular inspections of lobbies, corridors, restaurants, meeting rooms, restrooms, elevators, recreational facilities, and other public areas
- Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and checklists
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, equipment, and linen, and submit requisitions as required
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, complaints, and maintenance concerns related to public areas
- Collaborate with Engineering, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other departments
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations
- Assist in managing labor costs, supply expenses, and departmental budgets
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping operations
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership skills with ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent knowledge of housekeeping procedures and public area cleaning standards
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and hotel management systems is an advantage

Job Purpose
- Oversee and coordinate daily cleaning, maintenance, and presentation of all public areas.
- Ensure highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications & Competencies
- Preferably Female Candidate
- Certification in hospitality management is an advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years housekeeping experience with 1–2 years supervisory.
- Strong leadership and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and chemical handling.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications is an advantage.
