Housekeeping Coordinator

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest requests for internal services according to hotel standards and procedures.
• Answer calls, wake-up calls, and messages using proper telephone etiquette.
• Report guest comments or complaints and coordinate with departments on guest and operational needs.
• Set up inventory, monitor supplies, and update availability and order requirements in FMC with approval.
• Complete housekeeping office administration, coordination, filing, logbook updates, and guest history updates.
• Follow emergency, security, and key-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean equipment, tidy areas, and housekeeping standards.
• Manage departmental attendance and rosters in the payroll system and follow up on staff payroll queries.

• Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and follow housekeeping procedures.
• Escalate delayed or unresolved matters to the relevant department heads.
• Attend daily Housekeeping team briefings and complete assigned special projects.
