Role Overview
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas.
The role follows supervisor guidance, hotel policies, Standards of Performance, and safety procedures.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Collect keys and daily assignments and prepare the trolley and necessary equipment.
- Clean guest rooms and replenish room supplies according to hotel standards.
- Clean and replenish bathrooms while adhering to safety standards.
- Arrange and tidy guest belongings during room and bathroom cleaning.
- Inform Valet Service to collect guest clothes for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing.
- Clean guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas.
- Report maintenance-related issues to the Engineering Department.
- Consider guest needs and requirements while working in public areas and guest rooms.
- Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in accordance with organizational policies.
- Follow the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Follow hotel policies, Standards of Performance, and environmental, health, and safety procedures.
- Work courteously while considering guest needs and requirements in guest rooms and public areas.
- Report maintenance-related issues to the Engineering Department.
