Role Overview
The Bell Attendant handles luggage, assists with guest inquiries, maintains the concierge desk, and supports an efficient and welcoming hotel environment.
The role contributes to a positive guest experience throughout the stay.
Guest Service and Communication
- Greet guests professionally and provide a friendly welcome from arrival through departure.
- Communicate with relevant departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated on hotel and local services and changes to those services.
- Monitor guest profiles through the Opera Guest Profile system.
Luggage and Deliveries
- Transport guest luggage between arrival points, guest rooms, and departure points during check-out.
- Manage and deliver messages, mail, and packages for guests and employees.
- Distribute morning newspapers to guest rooms when needed.
- Deliver guest messages and other items promptly and professionally.
Concierge Area Standards
- Keep the concierge desk and storage room clean, tidy, and well-organized.
