Position Summary

Room and Housekeeping Control

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pools, and other spaces after housekeeping service to verify quality standards.
• Prepare reports on occupied rooms, verify room statuses, identify unsuitable rooms, and prioritize room cleaning.
• Update guest departure room statuses and assist housekeeping management with daily activities.
• Document and resolve unsuitable-room issues with the front desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes to assignment sheets and schedules.
• Report unresolved issues to the next shift and complete required administrative tasks.

Coordination and Team Support

• Coordinate housekeeping efforts with engineering, front desk, and laundry departments.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
• Support colleagues, team goals, quality expectations, and professional guest service.

Safety and Physical Requirements

• Follow safety policies, report maintenance needs and safety incidents, and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Enter and retrieve work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems.
• The role requires extended standing, kneeling, sitting, or walking, as well as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 kilograms without assistance and push or pull loaded housekeeping carts on uneven surfaces.

Recommended Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is recommended.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is recommended.
• No license or certification is specified.
