Role Description
- The Host/Hostess role at COCO Dubai is a full time, on site position based in Dubai.
- Day to day responsibilities include greeting guests warmly on arrival, managing the waiting list, organizing seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests throughout the venue.
- The role involves handling reservations, answering phone inquiries, and coordinating with the service team to prepare tables and support overall guest service.
- The Host/Hostess also provides information about menus and venue features, addresses guest requests, and maintains a professional, welcoming presence at the entrance and reception area.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor when engaging with guests and team members.
- Candidates should possess reservations management skills, including organizing bookings, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating seating plans.
- Candidates should possess clear communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess customer service capabilities, with a focus on delivering attentive, respectful, and solution oriented support.
- Candidates should possess professional phone etiquette skills, including polite greeting, clear information delivery, and efficient handling of calls.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in hospitality or restaurant front of house roles, proficiency in English and Arabic is a must, a polished and professional appearance, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
