Role Overview
The Hostess ensures high-quality service by greeting and assisting guests.
The role includes restaurant menu familiarity and upselling.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Greet guests upon departure.
- Provide wait times and monitor waiting lists.
- Assist guests with food and beverage menu information.
- Manage reservations.
- Maintain knowledge of menus and promotions.
- Escort guests to dining or bar areas.
- Provide menus and announce waiter or waitress names according to outlet procedures.
- Coordinate seating options with the team.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Previous Hostess experience is an asset.
- Point-of-Sale System knowledge is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic Food Safety Certificate.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
