Role Overview

Guest Reception and Reservations

• Greet customers, communicate waiting times, manage the waiting list, and escort guests to tables.
• Answer reservation, cancellation, and general inquiry calls and enter guest names in the computer system.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to achieve required operational turnaround times.

Guest Service

• Deal with customers tactfully, politely, and in a friendly manner.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Assist with beverage refills, billing, takeaway orders, and other customer needs.

Restaurant Standards

• Keep the working area and restaurant tidy and perform light housekeeping duties when needed.
• Follow internal SOPs, hygiene requirements, and food safety standards.
• Maintain impeccable grooming standards.

VIP and Team Support

• Maintain referral guest contact lists for promotional activities and remember VIP names and preferences.
• Provide management with feedback about complaints and service issues.
• Train and guide new employees in the same job line when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in hospitality or tourism, or an equivalent vocational qualification from relevant hotel or fine-dining experience.
• At least two years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Excellent command of English and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Arabic and previous team management experience are desirable.
