Position Summary
Welcome guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide assistance as needed.
Monitor dining-room seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
Responsibilities
- Arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs.
- Ensure each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and all standard place-setting items.
- Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
- Maintain clean work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Follow company and safety policies, report unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect company assets, and keep proprietary information confidential.
- Welcome guests, use clear professional language, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
