Schedule

• This is a part-time bank role working on an as-and-when-required basis.

• The role is based at Fairfield Independent Hospital in St Helens.

Role Overview

Duties

• Provide welcoming and responsive service while meeting food and beverage requirements.
• Prepare and deliver meals, drinks, and snacks in line with dietary requirements.
• Keep service areas clean, stocked, and well-presented under hospital and food hygiene policies.
• Attend service briefings and follow instructions from hospitality leads.
• Take accurate orders and deliver them within agreed timeframes.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen teams, clinical staff, and patients.

Applicant Criteria

• Previous catering or hospitality experience is preferred, particularly in hotels, restaurants, or room service environments.
• A Basic Food Hygiene qualification is required.
• A good understanding of food safety regulations and safe working practices is required.
• Good time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced service environment are required.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused approach are required.

Salary

• The stated salary is £12.71 per hour.
