Duties of this role include
- Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
- Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
- Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.
Applicants should meet the following criteria
HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
Extensive experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) rehabilitation, sports injuries, and post-surgical recovery.
Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
Commitment to team working and service improvement.
Evidence of CPD or postgraduate learning in a relevant clinical area.
Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff or students.
Familiarity with electronic documentation and outcome measurement tools.
Involvement in audit or clinical service initiatives.
