Role Description
- The Homeroom Tutor and Nanny is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, supporting a child’s academic progress and daily care within the ÚCHÈ household.
- Day to day responsibilities include planning and delivering age appropriate lessons, assisting with homework, and creating a structured homeroom schedule.
- The role also involves supervising daily routines, providing attentive childcare, organizing educational and creative activities, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
- The Homeroom Tutor and Nanny will coordinate with parents, communicate progress, and adapt learning plans as needed.
- Flexibility to support occasional family activities and outings is expected.
Qualifications
- Strong tutoring skills in core subjects (e.g., English, mathematics, science, and social studies) with experience developing lesson plans and supporting homework.
- Proven childcare and nanny experience, including managing routines, providing age appropriate care, and fostering a safe, supportive environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with children and collaborate effectively with parents or guardians.
- Ability to create engaging educational and creative activities that encourage curiosity, confidence, and independent thinking.
- Organizational and time management skills to maintain consistent schedules, track progress, and adjust plans as the child’s needs evolve.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity, especially within an international, creative household.
- Relevant educational background in teaching, early childhood education, childcare, or a related field; teaching certifications are an advantage.
- Previous experience working in a private home or similar setting in Dubai or the wider region is beneficial.
