Role Summary
Own one core hardware-in-the-loop regression pillar so validation work remains focused and continuous.
Build and maintain HIL frameworks, dashboards, and CI for component-, module-, and firmware-level validation during the V6 development push.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain HIL environments combining ECUs, sensors, motor controllers, and simulated dynamics.
- Perform stress and fault-injection testing on physical and simulated systems.
- Build automated test frameworks, reporting, dashboards, and an AI analyzer.
- Maintain green CI jobs on the HIL systems.
- Expand more than 30 module self-tests and improve the related data pipeline.
- Own regression and smoke test coverage.
- Integrate high-speed DAQ and CAN, I2C, and Ethernet bus tracing for hardware and firmware diagnostics.
- Partner with robot software and Nimble Health to improve HIL simulation models.
- Lead physical pick-and-pack testing for pickability, grip reliability, and placement accuracy.
