Responsible for carrying out all design tasks of a project including roadway geometry and plans, estimates, technical specifications, and reports while adhering to the project scope, budget, and schedule
Direct contact with Clients, supporting the Project Manager with response to correspondence and meeting preparation, attendance, and presentations
Opportunity to present at public information meetings and municipal meetings (i.e. inland wetlands)
Mentor and assist staff engineers
Active involvement with professional organizations such as CSCE, ACEC, ITE, WTS, etc. is encouraged to enhance relationships with peers.
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
Master of Science in Civil or Transportation Engineering a plus
Licensed Professional Engineer in either MA, NH, CT (or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months)
NCEES Record a plus
Proficiency in Autocad Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads is required; experience in both is a plus
Experience with HydroCAD or StormCAD a plus
Established relationships with CTDOT and CT Municipalities a plus
Experience in the use of the relevant CTDOT Design Manuals and AASHTO Green Book
Strong written and verbal communication skills and organization and time management skills required
