Responsibilities
- Lead the EMEA accounting organization, including US GAAP and local statutory accounting and reporting
- Oversee budgeting, expense management, forecasting, and review of financial performance
- Lead operational and financial reporting, providing insights for key business decisions
- Manage relationship with third party service providers for accounting, audit, tax, etc.
- Lead the finance function for the Saudi Arabia RHQ, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Partner with BU finance teams to understand priorities and impact on spending plans
- Provide financial guidance on pricing strategies, gross margin expectations, and profitability analysis
- Support annual and long range planning, including zero based budgeting and M&A activities
Requirements
- Leadership of a team of approximately 5 direct reports across multiple countries
- Experience with US GAAP close process and statutory accounts filing
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ability to partner with business unit finance teams and corporate finance
- Experience with pricing strategies, gross margin analysis, and profitability analysis
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabia RHQ finance function leadership

Overview
- As a key finance executive in KSA, you will be responsible for leadership of the EMEA accounting organization of a U.S. headquartered global company.
- You will act as a trusted financial advisor to the RHQ team and the organization’s subsidiaries and partners in the MENA region.
- You will oversee budgeting, expense management, forecasting, and the review of financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Leadership of a team of approximately 5 direct reports, located in Amsterdam, Madrid, Warsaw, Saudi Arabia & the United Arab Emirates and the Greater GCC area, as well as indirect oversight of shared services support resources.
- Leadership and oversight of the monthly and quarterly U.S. GAAP close process for entities in EMEA.
- Leadership and oversight of the annual statutory accounts filing process for multiple legal entities in countries across EMEA.
- Relationship management and engagement of various third party service providers across EMEA for accounting, advisory, audit, tax, etc.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate financial projections and effective cost management.
- Oversee operational and financial reporting, delivering actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Review financial performance against strategic goals, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Partner closely with Business Unit (BU) finance teams to understand how BU priorities impact spending plans and forecasts.
- Liaise with Corporate and BU finance teams to provide financial guidance on pricing strategies, gross margin expectations, and profitability analysis.
- Oversee and review the process for consistently and accurately reporting gross margin trends by customer, product, and geography.
- Support annual and long range planning activities, including zero based budgeting, business planning, and support acquisitions, mergers, and divestments.
