We are seeking a skilled Track Loader Operator to join our underground construction team in Edmonton, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a track loader to support excavation, backfilling, material handling, and site preparation activities in underground utility and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a track loader to move, load, and spread earth, rock, gravel, and other materials.
Assist with trenching, backfilling, and grading for underground utilities and structures.
Support crews in underground construction projects, including water, sewer, and storm systems.
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.
Work collaboratively with ground crews, foremen, and other operators to complete tasks efficiently.
Follow all site safety protocols, OH&S regulations, and company policies.
Adapt to changing jobsite conditions and assist with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid equipment operator certification and/or proven experience operating a track loader.
Previous experience in underground or heavy civil construction preferred.
Knowledge of underground utility installation practices considered an asset.
Ability to work in variable weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe worksite.
Reliable transportation to various job sites across Alberta.
