Position Summary

  • Utility Cleaners play an important role supporting vital hotel functions across departments.
  • They prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware, operate cleaning equipment, and transport items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support cleaning needs across kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry departments.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers).
  • Transport dishware or linens across the hotel.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None.
