Role Overview
The organization is seeking a PMP-certified Healthcare IT & Operations Project Specialist.
The role connects healthcare operations, clinical teams, IT departments, and external vendors.
The specialist will oversee projects from requirements gathering and planning through implementation, training, go-live, and performance evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan projects and develop scopes, implementation plans, timelines, resource requirements, and progress reports.
- Gather requirements, analyze healthcare workflows, identify operational gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate implementation and enhancement of HIS, EMR, ERP, CRM, appointment, billing, and reporting systems.
- Coordinate clinical, administrative, financial, technical, vendor, and consultant stakeholders.
- Maintain risk, issue, action, change-control, approval, meeting, and lessons-learned documentation.
- Support testing, user acceptance testing, data migration, staff training, go-live, KPI monitoring, and post-implementation evaluation.
- Prepare management reports and ensure compliance with healthcare, privacy, security, and internal policy requirements.
- Support automation, workflow standardization, continuous improvement, and escalation of risks and delays.
